Special Beer Pairing Dinner in Deep Creek Lake

Beer Pairing Dinner | Mountain State Brewing Co.We all know that pizza and beer are the perfect combination (duh..), but every now and then, it’s good to explore other delicacies in the wide world of food, and which tasty beverages would settle well with them.

Therefore, in addition to our 1st annual home brew competition, and also in conjunction with the observation of American Craft Beer Week, we’re holding a special beer pairing dinner, at the restaurant and pub in Deep Creek Lake. We’ll be serving up four delicious custom courses – a far cry from our standard menu – and pairing each of them with a selected standard house brew.  1st Course: 
Mozzarella Stuffed Portobello Mushrooms, and Balsamic Marinade
Paired with: Cold Trail Ale

2nd Course:
Chilled Avocado Soup with Ancho Cream
Gazpacho Salad
Paired with: Seneca Indian Pale Ale

3rd Course:
House Sangria Glazed Native Trout, Stuffed w/Sausage Rice. Side of Vegetable Angel Hair Pasta
Paired with: “Almost Heaven” Amber Ale
Black & Tan Pork Chops w/Honey Roasted Tomatoes and Sweet Potato Fries
Paired with: Rumsey Rock Porter

4th Course:
House Root Beer Cake
Paired with: Miners Daughter Stout

***Dinner will be served with beer made bread, and smoked Gouda.

The dinner will be held on Tuesday May 15th, with seating at 6pm. There is a fixed price of $30 per person, and reservations are required!
