As we unwillingly burn through summer, leaving precious, warm sunny days behind, we thought we’d take take a look forward at the remaining area summer festivals where Mountain State Brewing will be proudly representing. We recently attended the Arts Alive Festival on the Mon river in Morgantown and the Beer & Gear Fest in Ohiopyle, PA, but here’s what we have coming up in the next few months:

Shepherdstown Street Fest | Mountain State Brewing Co.Shepherdstown Street Fest:  This is a festival about all that is unique, artistic, and welcoming in Shepherdstown. Last year’s attendance was approximately 6,000 people. The festival is held on the two blocks of historic German St, on either side of the town’s main interstection at King St. The shops along German and Princess Streets will also be open for your enjoyment. Date: Sat, June 30th. Blues, Brews & BBQ | Mountain State Brewing Co.Blues, Brews & BBQs:  Smokin’ barbeque, frosty brews and soulful blues. Comfortable temperatures, low humidity and mountain breezes, provide the perfect mountain top get away.  Head up to the village on Snowshoe Mountain for a weekend celebration featuring sizzling BBQ prepared by the areas master chefs. Brew Skies | Mountain State Brewing Co.Brew Skies:  Mountain State Brewing sponsors its own two day musical festival featuring Todd Snider in Canaan Valley, WV.  We are happy to be joined by our fellow brewers from Blackwater Brewing, Bridge Brew Works & Morgantown Brewing for the event. The festival location will be inside Canaan Valley State Park. Dates: August 17th & 18th. Official Site

 
Camp Barefoot | Mountain State Brewing Co. Camp Barefoot 6:  Camp Barefoot is a four day outdoor live music and camping event, hosting an impressive list of performers in Bartow, WV. The lineup includes Karl Denson’s Tiny Universe, Ghostland Observatory, Keller Williams and Zach Deputy. Dates: Aug 23rd-26th. Official Site

 
 
Steel City Big Pour | Mountain State Brewing Co. Steel City Big Pour:  Construction Junction is a nonprofit with a mission to promote conservation through the reuse of building materials. Funds raised from Pittsburgh’s Steel City Big Pour are essential operational expenses to keep the store open, and to invest in expanding and improving their services. Date: Sept 8. Official Site
